About Trinity

Trinity Building and Construction was founded by partners Matthew Kilty, Paul Mancini and David Story in June of 2005, and has been experiencing steady growth ever since.  From our offices in Massachusetts, we provide clients with a wide range of construction related services, focusing on the hospitality, retail and corporate segments of the commercial construction market.

Trinity's full range of services allows our clients to feel secure in every phase of a project, from pre-construction to turnover and beyond.  We partner and collaborate with all involved parties, we communicate and share information openly and honestly, and we get to know our client's business to ensure that the final product will exceed expectations.

Trinity was recently recognized by the Boston Business Journal as one of the fastest growing private companies at their 3rd Annual Pacesetters event.  Trinity secured the # 6 spot on the 2009 Pacesetters List, which ranks the 60 fastest growing private companies in Massachusetts based on revenue growth.  This honor recognizes our skill in managing a rapidly-growing company, showing robust revenues and creating business strategies that have led us to success in a competitive business environment.

WE EXCEED EXPECTATIONS

We will exceed the expectations of our clients with superior, personalized service.  We will manage our business with integrity, accountability and social responsibility.  We will support our employees and provide them with exceptional opportunities for growth and development.  We will build long-term relationships the same way we build projects; with care, creativity and dedication.

This is a promise; a promise to our clients, business partners, employees and our community to act with their interests in mind and to make the right decision, even when it is not the easy one.  We promise to deliver the best projects and service we can.

WE TAKE SAFETY SERIOUSLY

We work safely.  Nothing is more important than ensuring the protection and well-being of our employees, our subcontractors and the public.  Every individual involved in Trinity's business operations deserves to work in a safe environment, and is required to do their part to contribute to the safety of others.

Safety is a dynamic concern at Trinity; we are constantly planning, monitoring and training, and all the while improving our approach and our methods of safe, injury-free project delivery.  Our safety program includes:

  • Project-specific safety plans
  • Subcontractor pre-qulification that requires detailed proof of insurance and safety programs
  • Job site safety inspections
  • Weekly safety meetings/training for subcontractors on every project site
  • Mandatory 30-hour OSHA, first aid and CPR for all Field Operations  staff
  • Mandatory 10-hour OSHA training for all Construction Operations staff

WE VALUE THE ENVIRONMENT

We have the responsibility to reduce our impact on the environment and we are taking steps to make it happen. Our Green Team meets monthly to share ideas and explore ways to minimize the carbon footprint of our business operations, both in the office and at our job sites.

We have LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, and we encourage the accreditation process by subsidizing all costs associated with training and exams, and by offering flexible time off for studying.

We view every project as an opportunity to suggest and promote sustainable, environmentally friendly products, whether or not LEED certification is a goal.

Trinity's green initiatives include:

  • An NStar audit of our office to identify energy saving opportunities; this audit resulted in the installation of energy efficient lighting throughout our office, and motivated the property owner to do the same throughout the office park.
  • An office recycling program that includes cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, batteries, and electronics.  In 2008, Trinity recycled 1,972 pounds of paper and cardboard and 85 pounds of plastic, glass, and aluminium.
  • Use of ENERGY STAR qualified servers, computers, and applicances in our office.
  • Development of recycling and waste management procedures for our job sites.
