Trinity completed construction of City Tap House’s first Massachusetts location on Congress Street in Boston’s Fort Point district. City Tap House is a gastropub offering an extensive selection of craft beer and elevated American pub fare. The restaurant includes a main dining area and bar, and features operable doors opening up to a stone paver patio, where guests can dine and drink outdoors and enjoy the warmth from fire pits on cool Boston evenings.

Located in a former sheet metal warehouse within a historic building constructed in 1906, City Tap features a rustic, industrial décor with elements such as polished concrete floors and a copper bar top, as well as subway tile and reclaimed lumber throughout the space.

Trinity’s project team was faced with the challenge of running new ductwork from the ground floor to the roof of the building, requiring extensive coordination and after-hours work to keep the project on schedule while bringing the ductwork through 6 floors of occupied tenant space. Trinity completed construction on time, ensuring that City Tap House could open its doors on New Year’s Eve 2016.
