The Hamlet at Saratoga Springs is the latest project by upstate New York developer Prime Companies. When complete, the Hamlet will consist of a six building complex of commercial and residential development at the north end of Saratoga Springs, NY. The Prime Companies chose Trinity Building and Construction Managers from a large field of interested builders to not only construct the newest phase of the project, but also assist in the design development with the Architect and Engineers.
Trinity Building played an important role in allowing this project to move forward for the developer by performing constructability reviews, offering ideas for building with economic savings without sacrifice and providing value engineering options. Trinity also creatively worked with familiar trade contractors to package work with substantial savings to the owner.
With a total of approximately 123,000 sf, the structure is a mix of structural concrete, structural steel with concrete deck and wood framing. The skin of the building includes pre-finished fiber cement siding, brick veneer, composite material decks and railings with pergolas, aluminum window and door systems, and high efficiency vinyl windows by Andersen. The mixed-use property includes approximately 13,000 sf of commercial spaces and approximately 72,000 sf for 55 luxury apartment units. The building also includes an 80 car parking garage along with additional covered tenant parking spaces. Various amenities include private rooftop terraces and balconies, a mezzanine lounge area, a rooftop common patio and garden area, a pet park, a fitness center and business center. The Hamlet celebrated its grand opening in early May 2016. Trinity was chosen by the developer to continue on to the construction of the next phase, which will be the last three buildings of the Hamlet. Construction will begin in fall 2016.
